Founder and Managing Director, Vivian Zilo, affectionately referred to as Mama Vivian, began the Iliso Care Society in 2005. Currently, Zilo manages a 94 ha farm in Phillipi, Cape Town, growing a variety of fresh vegetable crops.
Iliso faces challenges head-on, providing meal programs, job skills training, women's empowerment through entrepreneurship, children's education, and so much more! We aim to create a direct and tangible impact for our local community.
