Meet Mama Vivian! Mama V is the founder of the Iliso Care Society. Her vision was birthed back in 2004 when she noticed the need for nutritious food by those taking medication. In 2007, the Iliso Care Society was founded as a non profit organization. Since then, the organization has grown tremendously, benefiting anyone and everyone in the local and international community at large. Mama V is beloved by everyone who comes into contact with her. She is passionate, kind, and giving, all of the makings of a great leader. We are extremely blessed to have her.

Mama Vivian Nongoku Zilo-Ncana – is a Professional, accredited Facilitator and renowned Community Champion who has worked in the human and built environment field on different spheres of government indifferent provinces throughout the country.She is also a qualified community development worker, with experience in the field.
Mama Vivian is committed to Community Development and Change. She has an extensive contact list and is able to harness the skills of various participants in a synergistic way. She is currently heading one of the country’s biggest biodegradable sanitary development projects. She is responsible for helping us to leverage the community’s skills with the requirements of business and direct consumers.
Director and the Liaison Person of Imbokotho Food Growers, Mama Viv lives on the 94 hectares of farm and is currently running numerous permaculture gardens throughout the Western Cape, and the Eastern Cape. She is responsible for oversight of the farming operations which will be worked by trusted employees.
